Energy Auditing and Retrofits

This course will focus on the process of conducting energy audits and implementing retrofits in commercial and residential buildings. Students would learn how to identify energy-saving opportunities, measure energy consumption, and prioritize retrofit measures. The course will cover the technical aspects of retrofits, including HVAC upgrades, lighting retrofits, insulation, and air sealing. Students will also learn about the financial and economic aspects of retrofits, including financing options, incentives, and payback periods.
