Sustainable Energy Policy and Regulation

This course provides an introduction to the policy and regulatory frameworks that shape the development of sustainable energy systems. Students will learn about the different levels of governance involved in energy policy, from local to global, and the roles of different stakeholders in shaping policy outcomes. The course will cover the basic principles of energy regulation, including the role of market mechanisms, pricing, and incentives. Students will also learn about the challenges and opportunities associated with energy policy and regulation in different contexts, including developed and developing countries.
