Geothermal Energy Utilization and Applications

This course will focus on the various applications of geothermal energy, including electricity generation, heating and cooling, and industrial processes. Topics will include geothermal power plant design, direct-use applications, hybrid systems, and emerging technologies. Students will gain an understanding of the technical and economic factors that influence the utilization of geothermal energy, and the environmental and social benefits and impacts of geothermal energy systems.
