Food Packaging and Shelf-Life Extension

This course focuses on the role of packaging in food processing and preservation, and the different types of packaging materials and technologies used to extend the shelf-life of food products. Students will learn about the principles of active and intelligent packaging, as well as packaging regulations and standards. The course will also cover the impact of packaging on food quality, safety, and sustainability, and explore emerging trends and innovations in food packaging and shelf-life extension.
