Course overview

This course will provide students with an overview of the design thinking process and how it can be applied to social innovation. Students will learn how to identify user needs and pain points, and how to develop empathy maps to better understand the users they are trying to serve. Through hands-on projects, students will explore how to prototype and iterate solutions that address the unique challenges faced by social ventures. By the end of the course, students will have developed a toolkit of design thinking techniques that can be used to drive innovation in social entrepreneurship.
